Interstate 49 in St. Landry Parish Will Be Reduced to one lane

Interstate 49 will be reduced to one lane in the southbound direction near the US 190 interchange, in St. Landry Parish for sign construction beginning Tuesday night, September 7, 2010 through Thursday morning, September 9, 2010. One lane will be closed near mile marker 19 between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Interstate 49 will also be reduced to one lane in the norththbound direction near the Creswell Lane and US 190 interchanges, in St. Landry Parish for sign construction beginning Wednesday night, September 8, 2010 through Fridayday morning, September 10, 2010. One lane will be closed between mile marker 18 and mile marker 19 between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

All travel lanes will be open during the day. The work is expected to be completed by Friday morning - weather permitting.
