WELSH, La. (AP) - Two weeks after a 6-foot-8 trusty
walked away from jail while taking out the trash, police are still looking for him.
Police say that 29-year-old Rodney Drake
walked away from the Welsh Police Department the evening of Dec. 15. He was being held on a probation violation.
He's described as black, 6-foot-8 and 170 pounds, with dark hair and a full beard. Police found a pair of prison-issue black-and-white striped pants after he escaped.
He is originally from Welsh, but has lived in various places in the past. His last known address was in Lake Charles.
