RICHWOOD, La. (AP) - Richwood police have arrested a man for allegedly having a cellphone in jail.
26-year-old Mario Roberson, of Shreveport, was booked into Ouachita Correctional Center on a charge of introduction of contraband into a penal institution.
In an arrest affidavit, police were told while an officer was making rounds at Richwood Correctional Center, they found a phone in a cell.
Officers determined the bunk where the cell was found belonged to Roberson.
Bond was not set.
It was unclear whether Roberson has an attorney.
