The St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz is reminding citizens to be safe during Prom season.
"Celebrations for occasions such as proms and graduations are in full swing during the next 6 weeks. We want to urge revelers to enjoy themselves but to be aware of the strict consequences of underage drinking, and drinking under the influence. Additionally, all alcohol beverage outlets that sell alcohol are put on notice that Sheriff Deputies will enforce all laws relative to underage sale of alcohol to minors vigorously."
There will be increased patrols for the enforcement period starting April 19th stated Guidroz.
