Illinois company to dredge in St. Mary Parish

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Army says an Illinois company has won a $10.7 million Corps of Engineers contract to dredge in St. Mary Parish.
It says Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. LLC, of Oak Brook, was one of two bidders on the contract, which was solicited through the Internet.
It did not give details about the dredging, but said it is scheduled to be completed by Aug. 31.
