Iberia Shooting Arrest

According to the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, on Thursday around 7:20 p.m., they received a call of a shooting at 322 Deare Street. Deputies found a male victim who sustained several gunshot wounds to the abdomen. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated. Deputies arrested Paul Knatt, of New Iberia shortly after.. Knatt was arrested and charged with attempted 2nd degree murder and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
