Iberia Parish Pres won't give up on his CAO candidate

Iberia Parish President Romo Romero says he'll try for a fourth time to get the parish council to vote for his CAO candidate. Wednesday, the council voted against Romero's choice, Ricky Verret, for Chief Administrative Officer. Romero said he's "not going to allow the council to tell me who I can hire." The vote was 7-5. Romero's first candidate, Scott Decuir, was voted down in June. As for another candidate, Romero has no one else in mind.
