Iberia Parish: One Person Shot, Suspect Flees Scene

Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies are on the scene of a shooting in the 800 block of Ann Street. Officials say a man was shot once in the chest. The victim was conscious and transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.
A suspect was seen fleeing the scene and is described as a black male, wearing a black hoodie.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Iberia Parish Sheriff's at 369-3711.
