The Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce will hold their Building Winning Businesses workshop/seminar on Wednesday, June 19th at 9:00 a.m. at the Chamber Office, located at 111 West Main Street, New Iberia.
In this session of Building Winning Business participants will learn to create a more dynamic, loyal, and energized workplace by motivating others intrinsically. You'll learn that it's not all about financial incentives.
Employees who feel they are valued and recognized for the work they do are more motivated, responsible, and productive. Understanding common motivational theories and knowing how to apply them will help participants design a motivational climate and provide a starting point for creating champion employees.
The presenter will be Susan Aysenne who is currently the CEO and President for the Center of Educational
Effort and most recently served as the Chief of Operations for the Picard Center for Child Development and Lifelong Learning at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Her mixture of experience from working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and managing resources (fiscal, human and material) has proven beneficial in her role with the Department of Continuing Education at UL Lafayette. She delivers high energy, highly interactive trainings.
The Chamber invites the business community and anyone who would like to attend. Cost of the event is $19.95 for Chamber members and $29.95 for general admission. Registration is required. You can register online at www.iberiachamber.org or call the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce at (337) 364-1836. Deadline to register is Friday, June 14th.
