Husband and wife arrested for stealing $1500 worth of pipe

Suspects in $1,500 metal pipe theft were found in St. Mary Parish.
Randy Lirette, a 46 year old Jeanerette man, and Vickie Lirette, his 41 year old wife, were arrested today on charges of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.
In the course of the investigation, officers found that Randy allegedly took piping from a local machine shop he worked at in Centerville, La. He and his wife then sold the piping over a period of time to a scrap yard.
Both Randy and Vickie Lirette were transported to the parish jail, but have since bonded out.
