Hummingbird Lane Shooting Suspect Indicted on Murder Charge

The suspect in the shooting death of a Lafayette man has been indicted on one count of second-degree murder. Corlious Dyson is accused of shooting and killing Clement Amos last August on Hummingbird Lane. Officials say Dyson shot Amos while he was going to help a neighbor who called him when she thought someone was breaking into her home. Dyson's bond is set at $250,000.
