Hugh Keeton joined KATC TV3 as Sports Director and Anchor in September 2006.
He's covered sports for TV stations in Huntsville, AL, Greenville, MS, and Jefferson City, MO. He was first bitten by the broadcasting bug calling games during high school in the small Northeast Mississippi town of Iuka.
Hugh then moved on to college at Ole Miss, while in college he covered future Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and Saints running back Deuce McAllister for the student TV station. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Hugh says the best part of covering sports in Acadiana is the passion Louisiana sports fans share for their favorite teams.
Hugh and his wife live in Broussard.
