Huey Long's Son Found

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport police say the son of former
Louisiana Gov. Huey P. Long has been found.
Shreveport Police say 88-year-old Palmer R. Long Sr. was found
safely Thursday morning in Columbus, Miss. He was last seen about 9
a.m. Wednesday leaving his home in south Shreveport and heading to
Minden.
Long was driving a white Mercedes Benz E350.
Shreveport police spokesman. Sgt. Bill Goodin, says officers in
Columbus made contact with Long, "who was safe and appeared alert
and lucid."
Goodin says Long told the officers he planned to return to
Shreveport on Thursday.
