LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - A federal judge in Lake Charles, La., has sentenced a Houston man to 57 months in prison for moving stolen vehicles across state lines.
The judge also ordered Luis B. Calixto Sr. to pay $309,933 in restitution and served three years of supervised release.
Calixto and two co-defendants, Shaun Cody Gauthreaux (GOH'-troh) and Allen Joseph Morehead Jr., both of Kinder, La., were charged in December 2011 with conspiracy to transport stolen motor vehicles.
Prosecutors say they took part in a theft ring involving all-terrain vehicles that were stolen in Texas and Louisiana and transported to Calixto's home in Houston.
Authorities say 60 ATVs and outdoor vehicles - valued at about $363,000 - were taken.
Gauthreaux and Morehead pleaded guilty in October and were sentenced.
