Household Chemical Day is October 30th for Lafayette

Lafayette residents can safely dispose of their household chemicals and select electronics during "Household Chemical Day" from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday October 30, 2010 at the Cajun Field parking lot. The entrance will be set up at Gate 4, along Congress Street.

Driver's licenses will be checked for residency because the event is restricted to Lafayette city and unincorporated Lafayette Parish residents.

No televisions or large computer monitors will be accepted though flat-screen monitors may be dropped off at the event.
