Building on Evangeline Thwy catches fire

The Lafayette Fire Department is on the scene of a building fire in the 900 Block of NW Evangeline Thwy. Lafayette Police have closed portions of NW Evangeline Thwy southbound, from Willow St, to Mudd Ave. Lafayette Police are advising motorist to avoid NW Evangeline Thwy and use alternate routes.
There are no injuries reported. The building is said to be vacant.
