HOUMA, La. (AP) - A weekend foot race in Houma will help raise money for a park that will be accessible by children with disabilities.

The "Adaptive Park 5-K" race starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at Barrios Park in Houma.

Organizer Erica Lambert tells The Courier that the planned park will be for children with disabilities, but adds that it will be designed so that all children can enjoy it.
