"We are delighted that Sandi and Harold Foreman, owners of Copper Crowne, are our special hosts along with our Chamber," said Sabrina Salling, Chairman of the Board. "It is a new event for our organization, and much different than any other we have ever hosted." Attendees can expect an evening of entertainment and food in a unique setting. "It will be an evening for folks who like to horse around, or those who just like to listen to good Cajun music, dance, and enjoy an old fashioned Cochon de Lait!," said Opelousas-St. Landry Chamber of Commerce Director Frankie Bertrand. "Local restaurants are also stepping up to take part in the event by preparing delicious signature side dishes, appetizers and desserts," said Roxsan Godeau, event chairman. Internationally acclaimed Cajun musician Hadley J. A limited number of posters, which will be signed and numbered by the artist, will be available for purchase at the event along with commemorative t-shirts. Revenues from the event will fund a Hadley J. Castille Music Scholarship and a Copper Crowne Equine Studies Scholarship. Other revenues will allow the Chamber to continue its efforts in their divisions of Area Development, Education, Membership Development, Economic Development, Legislative Affairs, and promoting St. Landry Parish.
