Home Invasion Leaves One Victim Shot

On August 27, 2010, at approximately 1:30 am, three suspects entered a residence in the 100 block of Delord Street armed with handguns. The male victim (34) in the residence was struck in the back of the head and bound with tape. The female victim (50) was shot once in the leg with a handgun. The suspects allegedly stole the victim's 2001 maroon Dodge Caravan and fled the area. Both victims were treated and released at a local hospital.

The suspects were all described as black males. The description of the suspect who allegedly shot the victim is a black male, heavy set, 6'0", 180 pounds, wearing all black clothing and a stocking mask. No description was provided on the two other suspects.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incidents or the identity of the suspects to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
