Hickman takes command at Ft. Polk JRTC

Fort Polk,LA (AP) - A new commander is in place for the Army's Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk.
The Army said in a news release that Brig. Gen. William B. Hickman took command Thursday at Fort Polk's Headquarters Field.
Hickman previously served as deputy commanding general for the 101st Airborne Division. He replaces Brig. Gen. Clarence K.K. Chinn who heads to an assignment with the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan.
