The trial of the former chief and assistant chief of Henderson police has been postponed until 2014.
The trial for former chief Leroy Guidry and assistant chief Mack Lloyd was scheduled to begin today. However, according to assistant district attorney Chester Cedars, the trial has been postponed without a date.
Cedars says the earliest the case will be heard will be next spring.
Guidry and Lloyd are accused of running a ticket-quota scheme along Interstate 10 and tying in officers pay to the amount of tickets they wrote.
Both Guidry and Lloyd pleaded not guilty in August.
