KATC viewers have inundated us with calls, comments and emails following the story of Kaylin Dugas of Rayne. Dugas says she came home on Saturday to find that her home had been burglarized. The single mom of four children under the age of 7 says someone broke in through her daughter's bedroom window, and stole every gift that was under her Christmas tree. A Rayne business, Crawfish Hut, has graciously agreed to act as a drop-off location for anyone wishing to donate toys to replace those stolen from the Dugas home.

The following presents were stolen from under the tree:
-- a Playstation and 5 games
-- Michael Jackson collectible book and CD
-- 2 pre-paid cell phones
-- clothing
girls size 5T or 6
boys pants size 5T
boys shirts size 7
infant girl size 24m (for her Godchild)
-- Barbie toy laptop
-- Baby Alive (that eats bananas)
-- pink Baby Alive stroller
-- Dairy Queen Blizzard maker

The children are a 7-year-old girl, and three boys... Ages 6, one that will be 5 on 12/21 and 2.

Anyone wishing to donate toys can drop them off at The Crawfish Hut at 702 W. Branche in Rayne Friday and Saturday until 9:30 at night. They will be closed on Sunday.
