Helicopter Crashes in Intracoastal City

Vermilion Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating a helicopter crash at Intracoastal City. The initial report of the accident was received around 9:00 A. M. The Coast Guard says the accident took place at the Chevron Heliport. The Bristow Group in Houston confirms the crash involved one of its aircrafts. A spokesperson says Bristow is cooperating with authorities and cannot release any other information at this time.
