Heavy Metal coming to the Cajundome Monday; interview with legendary drummer

Hard-rock acts Avenged Sevenfold and Hellyeah will rock Lafayette Monday, April 28th for the "Shepherd of Fire Tour."

Hellyeah's legendary drummer, Vinnie Paul, told KATC he looks forward to playing in Lafayette. "The Ragin Cajuns down there know how to get it on and rock and roll ...its going to be a good time."

Hellyeah is anticipating their new album, Blood For Blood this spring. "We kinda got back to to our metal roots, the first two records were very experimental for us," said Paul. "When we went into the studio this time we were more focused and we brought on an outside producer, which we never worked with in the past, Kevin Churko.

Show starts at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 28th at the Cajundome in Lafayette. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by clicking here.
