Hearts of Hope: Stuffed Animal Donation

Hearts of Hope, formerly known as Stuller Place, is a non-profit agency whose aim is to reduce the trauma experienced by child and adult victims of sexual abuse and sexual assault. All services are confidential and are completed without expense for the clients.
Located in Lafayette, LA, Hearts of Hope provides its services to the parishes of Lafayette, Acadia, Vermilion, Iberia, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Landry and Evangeline.
Hearts of Hope's needs stuffed animals. We prefer teddy bears because it has been the Children's Advocacy Center's tradition of handing out teddy bears to young children and teenagers after a forensic interview has been completed - to comfort them, as well as to calm their fears. However, any new or slightly used stuffed animal is accepted and much appreciated. In the past, we have received beanie babies, stuffed frogs, dogs and baby lambs. For those who might be interested in donating a new or slightly used stuffed animal can definitely give us a call at 269-1557 to schedule a time and day for drop off and/or pick up. In order to protect our clients, we are not allowed to publicize our location.
