A Calcasieu Parish jury has convicted Armonta Dquon Hadnot of killing three men in March.
The American Press reports that Hadnot was convicted Wednesday of three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Prosecutors say Jeminskian J. Arvie, David Jermaine Galmore and Fitzgerald Tremayne Guillory were robbed and shot to death while they were playing dice at McMillan Park on March 20, 2013. Authorities say three other people were wounded in the gunfire.
Hadnot will be sentenced Tuesday. Hadnot faces a life sentence. Prosecutors did not seek a death sentence.
Authorities say they are looking for a second suspect in the case.
