Guilty Plea in Double Vehicular Homicide

A Lafayette man will serve ten years in prison for a car accident that killed two people in December 2009. Monday, Justin Credeur plead guilty to two counts of vehicular homicide. The accident happened on December 5, 2009 on Eraste Landry Road. Credeur was driving the vehicle with two passengers also in the car. Police say Credeur's blood alcohol level was over the legal limit. The two victims were Gage Norman and Credeur's cousin, Mitchell Credeur. Justin Credeur was sentenced to ten years for each count, to be served concurrently. He must also pay a $2,000 fine.
