Guidance Counselor at Carencro Middle School Arrested

On May 24, 2010 Narcotics Agents with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office conducted a narcotics investigation within the city limits of New Iberia. As a result of this investigation, Agents recovered approximately 311 grams of powder cocaine and a digital scale. Agents arrested Kenrarad Broussard and booked him into the Iberia Parish Jail on possession with intent to distribute cocaine over 200 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 1000 feet of a school zone. The estimated street value of the cocaine seized is approximately $18,000. Agents also seized 1 vehicle. Narcotics Agents advised Mr. Broussard is a guidance counselor at Carencro Middle School.
