Griffin Pat Miller, Sr. Dies at 63

A private funeral service for the immediate family only will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Williams Funeral Home, in Opelousas, Louisiana, for Mr. Griffin Pat Miller, Sr., 63, who entered eternal rest, October 9, 2010, at Evangeline Oaks Guest Home, in Carencro, Louisiana.

Interment will be in Mohorn Baptist Church Cemetery, in Plaisance, Louisiana.

Mourning his departure, yet cherishing his precious memories, is his loving wife, Mrs. Joyce Miller of Opelousas, Louisiana. He is also survived by his children, two sons, Brad Kevin Miller (Monique) of Opelousas, LA. and Griffin Pat Miller, Jr. (Tori) of Ponte Vedra, Florida; two daughters, Marsha Bickham (Dolyal) of Cankton, LA. and FeKisha Matthews (Jarmen) of Opelousas, LA.; two brothers, James Chatman, Sr. (Emily Rose) of Opelousas, LA. and Freddie Williams (Mary) of New Iberia, LA; one step-sister, Lillie Mae Coleman of Hitchock's Texas; six grandchildren, Tyrone, Kiara, Amaiya, Madison, Dolyal, III. and Christian and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jane Miller & Freddie Williams.

Private visiting hours will be observed for the immediate family only from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA.
