A Greenwood man has been arrested on a timber theft charge for the second time in less than a month.
The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry said its enforcement agents arrested 61-year-old David Lubas in Mansfield on Monday.
He was booked into DeSoto Parish jail on one count of felony timber theft. Lubas was arrested earlier this month on three counts of timber theft.
The department said Lubas worked as a consultant for a DeSoto Parish property owner and received more than $55,000 in commissions for timber removed from the owner's property without the owner's knowledge.
