A boil advisory put in place last week for a portion of southern St. Landry Parish has been rescinded.
The Greenbriar Prairie Basse Water Corporation says water pressure has been restored within its system and that tests of its water have come back negative for coliform bacteria. The order was put in place last Friday after a water main running along LA 182 burst.
The water system serves customers living in the area along and just off of LA 182 east of Sunset and south of Grand Coteau.
