The boil advisory for the Grand Prairie Water System is now lifted.
According to St. Landry Parish President Bill Fontenot, test results from the Department of Health and Hospitals were returned this morning. Those tests found no harmful bacteria in the water, meaning residents may once again consume water without first boiling it.
The order was put in place Sunday after the system lost water pressure.
