A grand jury will decide the fate of 21-year-old Joshua McKeel the man accused of shooting and killing his seven-months pregnant fiance' and their unborn child in January.
On January 18, St. Martin Parish Sheriff's deputies were called to a residence on Our Lady of the Lake Rd. and found 19-year-old Hannah Parker dead. McKeel was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree feticide. He could face the death penalty if he's indicted on the first degree murder charge.
Assistant District Attorney Chester Cedars with the 16th Judicial District Attorney's Office said the grand jury convenes on May 7 and will probably last three days.
