BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 20-year-old Baton Rouge man accused of accidentally shooting a friend during a fight with another man has been indicted on a manslaughter charge.
On Thursday, an East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury accused Joshua K. Daigre of fatally shooting 19-year-old Larry Williams on March 28.
A manslaughter conviction carries up to 40 years in prison.
The Advocate reports Daigre's case has been assigned to state District Judge Richard Anderson.
