PORT ALLEN, La. (AP) - A West Baton Rouge Parish grand jury has indicted three people on a charge of first-degree murder in the 2010 fatal shooting of a Louisiana man.
The Advocate reports the three were also charged with criminal conspiracy to first degree murder in connection with the death of 40-year-old Corey Kitts, who was found dead in his Addis home on July 9, 2010. Investigators said Kitts was shot three times in head.
Arrest warrants were issued for 29-year-old Karl Michael Howard, of Roswell, Ga.; 43-year-old Monique O. Kitts, of Livingston; and 28-year-old Corey Knox, of Baton Rouge, shortly after the grand jury returned the indictments on Thursday.
