Grand Isle to residents & visitors: conserve water

GRAND ISLE, La. (AP) - Jefferson Parish officials are asking Grand Isle residents and visitors to use as little water as possible for the next few days because a water transmission line in Bayou Barataria is leaking.
A news release says a diver will examine the line and Blanchard Contractors will fix it, but that could take up to three days.
Residents and visitors on the island are asked to conserve water until repairs are made and full water service is restored.
