Grand Coteau Police Dept. fires captain

The Grand Coteau Police Department has fired a longtime captain of the department. Assistant Police Chief Mike Buck won't reveal the nature of the complaint against the officer nor will release the man's name, but he says the captain's actions are possibly criminal. The complaint came from within the department and Buck tells KATC termination was the best action for the department and the town. Charges will not be filed against the captain.
