Grambling apartment building burned

GRAMBLING, La. (AP) - A vacant four-unit apartment building in Grambling was destroyed by a fire.
James C. Hilton Jr., administrative assistant for Lincoln Parish Fire District No. 1, said in a Wednesday afternoon news release that the Grambling Fire Department called the Lincoln Parish Fire Department asked for help to fight the fire.
He says that when the first Lincoln unit arrived at the scene the building was fully ablaze.
The News Star reported that the fire was so intense that firefighters were unable to get inside.
