OPELOUSAS, La. (AP) - State police say a vehicle 21-year-old Gonzales woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident in St. Landry Parish.
The accident happened at 2:57 a.m. Saturday on La. Highway 103 northwest of Opelousas.
Troopers say Tabatha Guidin's car failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, hit a concrete culvert and overturned.
Guidin was pronounced dead by the St. Landry Parish Coroner's Office.
Troopers say a passenger in the car, 31-year-old Cheyenne Rennee Williams of Glynn, received moderate injuries and is being treated at a Lafayette hospital.
