Glover to tout upcoming business summit

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover and other officials say a mid-February meeting will provide small business owners with a wealth of information about doing business in northwest Louisiana.
Glover and others set a Monday news conference to talk up the Northwest Louisiana Small Business Summit, which is scheduled for Feb. 17 at the Shreveport Convention Center.
The summit will provide participants with updates and information on topics including a $175 million bond package to effective ways to do business with government agencies and prime contractors.
