Glenmora man killed in collision

HINESTON, La. (AP) - State police say a Glenmora man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on La. Highway 121 at La. 112 near Hineston.
Troopers tell The Town Talk 80-year-old Floyd G. Goleman was a passenger in a car driven by a 16-year-old boy. The boy was driving south on La. 121 when he attempted to make a left turn north onto Highway 112.
Investigators say the car collided with an 18-wheeler driven by 44-year-old David P. Carroll of Hineston. Goleman, who was wearing his seatbelt, was pronounced dead at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
The juvenile wasn't injured. He received tickets for improper turning and no driver's license.
Carroll was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
