Showers and thunderstorms are ending across Acadiana this morning, and chilly air is sweeping in. There were a few heavy downpours and some gusty winds across the region, but Acadiana seems to have missed out on any severe weather.

There were reports of wind damage and possible tornadoes near Baton Rouge, Gonzales, and southwestern Mississippi.

Colder air is moving in and temperatures will continue to drop today. Most areas will be near 50 by the afternoon drive, and eventually drop into the 30s by early Tuesday.
