Georgia Man Walking on I-10 Struck, Killed in Louisiana

PORT ALLEN, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police say a 39-year-old
Georgia man was killed after being hit by a pickup.
State Police Trooper Russell Graham said Walter Ellison Jr., of
Rex, Ga., was walking on Interstate 10 shortly after midnight
Tuesday when he stepped into the path of an oncoming pickup.
Graham said the West Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office
pronounced Ellison dead at the scene.
He said no charges have been filed in the accident.
