Warren Gautreaux's bid for a new trial has been pushed back again.
A St. Landry Parish judge has reset the convicted murder's motion hearing to October 4. The hearing was initially pushed back in July to September 5.
Gautreaux was found guilty in the January 2006 murders of Youric and Mary Courville. Gautreaux's attorney, Jarvis Claiborne, claims two witnesses perjured themselves on the stand. Claiborne also says his client did not receive a fair trial because he could not cross-examine the witnesses who allegedly committed perjury.
