Garbage & recycling service on MLK Day

While some businesses will be closed on Martin Luther King Day, Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will run their regular garbage and recycling collection routes. There will be no changes to the waste collection schedule for Lafayette Parish residents the entire week of the MLK holiday.
Lafayette Consolidated Government's Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Road will be closed on Monday in recognition of the MLK holiday.
