Gaines Center Opens

UL Lafayette is now home to a unique collection.

Sunday, a new center opened at Edith Dupre Library in honor of novelist Ernest Gaines. The famed author was on hand to dedicate the space which will allow scholars and students to work with his papers and manuscripts.

The Gaines center is located on the third floor of the library.
