Young Professionals of LAGCOE are proud to announce their 1st annual Sporting Clays Tournament on Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st, 2013, at GOL SHOOTING 11919 Louisiana 697, Maurice, LA 70555.
The shoot will be limited to 120 teams filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and the entry fee will be $600.00 per 4-man team. Team Captains must be employed in the petroleum industry. Other team members can be filled at captains' discretion. For information on sponsorship and registration, visit www.cfacadiana.org/ypl. Proceeds will benefit the LAGCOE Education Fund, a Fund at Community Foundation of Acadiana. Purposes for the fund include projects that encourage and support future industry professionals to pursue technical positions which fuel our world. For more information click here
Hollie Citron, Business Development, Offshore Process Services and Young Professionals of LAGCOE Secretary Treasurer, is an experienced clay shoot organizer lending her expertise to this inaugural event. "As young professionals in the oil and gas industry, we realize a critical need for qualified employees exists now. This clay shoot is our first fundraiser which will aid in our efforts to educate students on the tremendous opportunities available in this industry."
LAGCOE (Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition) will be held October 22 - 24, 2013 at The Cajundome and Convention Center in Lafayette, LA. In continuous operation since 1955, LAGCOE is a first rate exposition where world class companies display the latest equipment and services and technical sessions address pertinent issues from across the globe. LAGCOE 2013 exhibit space is sold out with 413 exhibitors displaying while over 400 companies remain on the wait list. LAGCOE 2011 welcomed 14,000 attendees from 47 states and 27 countries. Admission to the show and technical presentations is free, and limited to energy industry personnel.
