There's something in the air Halloween night in Acadiana, whether you're young or old, people were out celebrating the night. River Ranch in Lafayette was the place to be for trick-or-treaters. From spooky to sparkly, it's all about two things for kids on Halloween: the costume and candy.
When the trick-or-treaters are home, dreaming of their candy, it's time for the adults to play. Saint Street Inn invited in all the monsters and clever characters for a drink and a costume party.
"Why would we not? I mean it's Halloween, we like to dress up so here we are," said owner Mary Tutwiler.
There were plenty of creative and elaborate costumes on hand, enjoying a night when it's perfectly acceptable to take on a whole new character.
