Free income tax return preparation for low income individuals and families

The ASSIST Agency, a local nonprofit agency, is providing free income tax return preparation for low income individuals and families in Acadia, Jeff Davis, and Vermilion Parishes. There are certified VITA Volunteers that are trained by the IRS to prepare taxes. These volunteers will assist with the Earned Income Tax Credit for those who qualify and electronic filing for a faster tax return.
