A free Export 101 course is offered to Louisiana Companies on Thursday, April 4th from 10am to 4pm in Lafayette, LA. Companies new to exporting or experienced exporters with employees needing export training are encouraged to sign up for the course which is organized by Le Centre International de Lafayette, the international division of Lafayette Consolidated Government.
The program will cover basic topics such as organizing for export, procedures and regulations, payments, international logistics, website internationalization, and a panel of seasoned exporters will share their experience with participants. Click here for an agenda.
This course is part of a series of three courses (Exporting 101, 201 & 301) on developing or expanding an export business now being offered to Louisiana companies on multiple dates and in several locations throughout the state. Upcoming sessions are also scheduled in Lake Charles, New Orleans and Kinder. These courses are supported by the U.S. Department of Commerce, New Orleans U.S. Export Assistance Center and other export promotion and economic development partners within Louisiana.
